Well daughter and I had a lovely time at Burghley Horse Trials with plenty of sunshine and a few "little drinkies" with friends old and new and as usual Mr and Mrs Steel created an amazing trip - Huge thank you.....
Husband had fun with a helicopter last Friday. One of the fields was used for landing to escort a new Mr and Mrs to their wedding reception. Husband was duly despatched to ward off the cattle who would be a slight inconvenience to said helicopter but seemed to have more fun pretending he was "Scots Gap flight control" - deary deary me!! Very funny to listen to and a lovely gesture from Mrs to Mr as a wedding surprise!
The Glamping site continues to be very busy which is absolutely fantastic. The added addition of "Indoor Swallows" is indeed worth seeing (think Hilda Ogden's three ducks and you'll get the picture!). We are offering 20% discount on all October/November bookings based on a two night stay and booked directly with me. There is a "virtual tour" on Facebook if you would like to look around the pod. Just type in GlamPods Northumberland and scroll down.
We are all off to the lovely Lucy's 18th on Friday and then the Horse of Year Show fundraiser on Saturday where I hope the auction pledge of all Pods and BBQ Hut for a night will raise a bit of money.
Until next time,
Happy Glamping!
