Europe investing in rural areas
What a busy weekend, Daughter and I took our games pony to Cheshire to compete in the Pony Club Championships, a privilege and an honour, a successful and fun trip complete with sunshine. The Pods were left in the very capable hands of Tori and Kim although they didn't seem to have as much sunshine as I did. I took the opportunity of cutting the grass today and I do think I look slightly mad rocking away to George Ezra and even madder when I play my "Rock Playlist" - simple things!!!
The BBQ Hut or "The Hut" is proving a big hit. It is a gorgeous bonus to our Glamping Site with twinkly lights, mains electric and when hired comes complete with Kindling, Charcoal, Marshmallows and toasting forks, crockery, cutlery, sauce and a drinks bucket (don't forget the ice!) We have had some cracking nights in there and I absolutely recommend it even though I'm biased!
Farmlife is a busy as ever, Bulls are moving around at the moment to new "wives" and with that in mind Finn, our terrier got "married" last week to our neighbours terrier so we are expecting "Little Finns" this year! He does seem to feature very heavily in my visitors book with rave reviews from guests telling me how much he likes toasted marshmallows - we have a no dogs policy as this is a working farm but Finn obviously feels exempt from this!
Back to work till next time..... Happy Glamping
Deb
